Let the Explosion Begin!
Both of you may remember that I won 500 BlogExplosion credits last week and after doing an intensive, 5 minute browse of the BlogExplosion site it appears that these credits will somehow direct other BE members and/or visitors to my blog, although I still don't totally get it. Is this a good thing? Well, it'll be nice to have some company here so I guess it's good for me. For the unfortunate souls who end up here while browsing for a decent blog, the joke's on you. Actually I hope to find a few people who find what I write to be amusing or interesting in some way. I think I would if I stumbled across it. More amusing than interesting but still... So, if anyone who gets here via BE could comment that would be swell. I could get me a stat counter so I could find these things out on my own but I haven't bothered to find out how to do that yet. Do I count? Hey, btw, how do I get cute pics to border my blog like you have on top?
Well, I wish I had a good answer for you. I don't know very much about HTML. The blogger template that I chose is labeled pretty well as far as what bits of code affect what shows up on what part of the screen. Quite honestly, I took the address of the picture I wanted to show up there and plugged it into various parts of the HTML code for my template and then checked to see what happened. It was entirely trial and error. I keep thinking I should get like an HTML for dummies book so I can do something nice with my blog but, well, you know how it goes.
Although if you meant you need a cute picture of my dogs, you'll have to get your own.
