If you work in Candyland, that is.

Due to circumstances beyond our control (the 35 year old stove we'd been using shit the bed with a loud "WHOOOMPH" and a bright flash that scared the crap out of the dog and I) we were suddenly in the market for a new oven/stove this weekend. So we went out and got this beauty. It kicks ass. Makes our old electric stove look like the 35 year old piece of junk it was. I mean, come on. Stainless steel finish, 5 sealed gas burners, convection oven... Sylvia is gonna be eating in style. At least from a stylish oven. I'll still be there so she'll have to make due with what she gets.

Every year for X-Mas Sylvia likes to make a variety of cookies to celebrate the occasion. And because they're yummy as all get out. As you may know, I do the majority of the cooking at our house but the cookies for the baby Jesus's birthday are all Sylvia. I do help though. I'm a good helper but if you ask for my help in making the gingerbread men you have to be prepared for whatever you get. In this case what Sylvia got was:

So there you have Christmas at Phollower and Sylvia's in a nutshell. With the nut portion being made of delicious gingerbread. Watch out for the frosting money shot.

I guess this sorts of fits with the holiday, but "Sweet Jesus, man, what's wrong with you?"

Good to see you two are still alive and kicking...it's been awhile since your last post. Christmas is a busy time though so we'll forgive you. I'm excited to check out those games you named in your comment on my blog today.

Very creative gingerbread man. Your posts are always good for a laugh. Merry Christmas.

That gingerbread man is hung like a horse - it's up past his navel!
