Trick or Treat

So, here it is:

Pretty scary huh? That's me under there. It's not a real mummy. Although I do get the urge to eat human flesh while wearing the outfit.

Lucky for Sylvia, huh?

The scariest part of that picture? The Buffalo Sabres hat...Give me the Hurricanes any day. Oh! The costume is terrific!

anon: Thanks for the compliment on the costume but the 'Canes can suck it. Except Brind'Amour. He makes an awful lot of fantasy points since he wins like 87% of his faceoffs.

Wool socks? I don't remember mummies wearing wool socks.

Very nice. Looks like a fair bit of effort was put into making your costume. I'm sans costume this year, oh well.

Happy Halloween!

maggie: Yeah, I got lazy (and ran out of material) before I had a chance to do anything for footwear. Fortunately my feet are nasty enough that as long as I go without socks they look like they belong to someone who's been rotting in a tomb for a few thousand years.

lynne: It actually wasn't too bad. It's all just glued together with Aleen's Tacky Glue, which is one of mankind's greatest inventions. The only bad part is the glue is water soluble and the whole outfit will fall apart if I wash it. And since the top part is made from a long sleeve thermal shirt there is a fair bit of sweating that occurs in it. You can figure out the rest.

Oh my god I was the same thing!
Jus' kiddin'.

That's awesome! It looks like it might be hot by the end of the night, but very original!

Aren't you afraid all your blog readers will now recognize you?

limpy: If either of you are all that interested in finding out who I am I'll be in the museum all week. Stop by and just start talking to me. I won't be able to say anything back because, well, I'm working so I have to play the part, but nobody will mind if you talk to me.
