Settle Down Dog

Our dog Sam has all sorts of allergies and things of that nature so he's on about 27 different herbal supplements, eats human-grade salmon & sweet potato food, gets hypo-allergenic treats, etc. One of the things we do to help keep his feet from itching (which results in him chewing on them and that's no fun for anybody) is rub this cream called Veterinarian's Assistant on them every night. Now we've been doing this for months and it's never hurt him nor have we ever done anything to harm him during his entire pampered existence and yet every night he cowers next to the bed as if he's certain that this is the time I accidently grabbed the bottle of Grandma Brown's Glass Chips and Metal Shavings that we keep on the dresser next to the cream. Like we'd waste the good stuff on the dog.

What we won't do for dogs! Bandit's pretty sensitive about touching his feet, and any type of salve quickly gets licked off. I hate to think of how much Benadryl and Bacatracin he's eaten in his life, gross!

bro, your blog rocks.

I use Grama Brown's Glass Chips and Metal Shavings on the kids. I didn't think they sold it out there.
